An experienced Manmohan Singh, better known as Manna took to film making , animation production along-with the study for his Bachelors Degree in Physics (Honours) from the University of Delhi.
His professional involvement with audio-visual communication for over 35 years was a part of his battle to secure social justice in an environment that for some reason or other was becoming oppressive with each passing day and the malaise securing a strangle-hold over the entire country.
This entry into the world of development activity was a result of the need to initiate a campaign from the grass roots level which would function at the same level over a life-time for all. He has been directing documentary films for the government of India and also has been involved in films for the promotion of the Vedas and Upanishads for over 15 years. Besides a continued and long-term relationship with the media he has a reputation in the production and development of ad films for international organisations and multinational consumer products.
An aversion for suppression, oppression and exploitation of women ,children and the vulnerable segments of society that serves to deprive them of the lowest levels of self respect, self-esteem and dignity. Women, married off at a tender age which to this day and year can be as low as four and left isolated to fend for themselves in a hostile environment including Dowry System where every activity, word or behaviour was open to criticism, disparaged and manipulated to degrade the parental home.
